Sometimes when bothered with too much work do nothing

It happens now and again that new bosses or colleagues start bothering me with too much additional workload. In such cases it is important to keep the cool and to just do nothing for a little while. A friend of mine used to say that when in a bad situation in extreme sports, it sometimes makes sense to just give up and let the conditions to take care of themselves. It is not easy to do that, but sometimes it is the only thing that works.

    Sometimes? Why not always?

Is doing something usually worse than doing nothing

I have been noticing it more and more that doing nothing is almost always safer than doing something. Apart from doing menial tasks that are done based on a schedule. Failure is always following those who try to do things. The smart get it early and stop trying. I guess I need to learn a lot despite all of the years of experience.

    Something new is coming up

Have been working on a new short for a few weeks now. Everything takes time. But I'm excited to publish it soon. Stay strong, fellow dnawers!

A day gone by without any real meaning

One of those mondays when you wake up and know it's gonna be really meaningless.

    Office workers live like children

I am sitting in my chair at the office and scrolling through various websites, looking at cars, clothes, news, all kinds of random things. At the same time, there is a kid of one of my colleagues, maybe 5-7 years old?, who is playing behind a desk nearby. We more or less do the exact same thing, the only thing is, that she is not allowed to look at screens by her mom, so she has to play with traditional toys. Other than that, are our activities the same? I would say yes! Most of our actions are to fight boredom. We too have to sit here until our 'parents' tell us it is ok to go home. And we too play with toys, our toys are simply better (or are they?).
